"A Home Girl's Christmas" is a story published in the Dear Canada anthology collection, A Season for Miracles. It was written by Jean Little. Instead of being told from Victoria Cope's point-of-view, the narrative is told through Marianna Wilson. The story was also published in French as "Le Noël d'une orpheline."
