Augustus "Gus" Pelletier (born c. 1790) was a member of the Lewis and Clark Expedition.

Early life[]
Augustus was born around 1790. His father was a French trapper who died before Augustus could walk. Augustus's mother, Silverwing Woman, was Omaha. She was remarried in 1801 to a French Canadian man named Mingo, who mistreated her and Augustus. His mother passed away in 1803.[1]
