Berlin Olympics: Olympic Swimmer is the fiftieth book in Scholastic UK's My Story. It was written by Vince Cross; his third in the series with a female protagonist. The book was published on April 5, 2012. It was republished with new cover art on January 2, 2020. The book was followed by Sue Reid's Lady Jane Grey.

Vince Cross is a British author, audio producer, and composer. He previously worked as a teacher, session musician among others before writing. Berlin Olympics is Cross's sixth book for My Story. He also wrote Blitz, Civil War, Zulu War, Princess of Egypt, and My True Story book Hero at Dunkirk. Cross wanted to write Berlin Olympics since he was interested in writing a book to celebrate the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.[3]
