Bryan Perrett (9 July 1934 — 16 June 2020) was a British military historian and author. He authored five books in the My Story series, including Trafalgar, Crimea, Waterloo, D-Day, and U-Boat Hunter.

Perrett was born in 1934 and attended Liverpool College. He served in the Royal Armoured Corps, the 17th/21st Lancers, Westminster Dragoons and the Royal Tank Regiment. Perrett was also awarded the Territorial Decoration for his service. He was a defense correspondent for the Liverpool Echo during the Falklands and Gulf wars.[1]
On 16 June 2020, Perrett passed away after some time of failing health. He was survived by his wife Anne.[2]
