Five Smooth Stones: Hope's Diary is the third book in the My America series and the first to feature Hope Potter. The book was written by Kristiana Gregory. It was published in February 2001 and reissued in May 2002 with a new cover design. The book was followed by its sequel, We Are Patriots.
