Love Thy Neighbor: The Tory Diary of Prudence Emerson is an entry in the Dear America series by Scholastic. It was Ann Turner's second book in Dear America. The book was published in April 2003 and was followed by All the Stars in the Sky.

He says it would be like crossing the rive in a boat, and deciding halfway across to swim on the back of a horse. We are in this boat, this king's boat, an will stay in it...."
